How To Love Valentine’s Day

February 14, 2015 by Melissa Rapoport 2 Comments

love valentine's dayIt is possible to love Valentine’s Day!

We either love it or hate it. Valentine’s Day is an emotionally-charged holiday. Reframe it.

Rather than focusing on what you receive, focus on what you can give.

Be particularly kind to the cashier at the pharmacy, go out of your way to hold the door for someone, call a friend and tell him/her how much you appreciate them, give a hug to your neighbor.

Or, go even bigger: apologize to someone you have hurt or forgive someone with whom you have a grievance.

In other words … open your heart.

With much heart & love,
Melissa
